They Struggle with Intent, Emotion, and Context Shifts Let’s say a user starts with: “Can you help me with my math homework?”...and then pivots to: “I’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately.” These systems don’t gracefully handle that shift. They lose context, break character, or respond inappropriately—leading to disconnected, robotic interactions. 3. They Lack Controlled Determinism Across Agents In a truly supportive system, users shouldn’t feel like they’re talking to different bots.
